PYODERM S- Chlorhexidine Shampoo with Spherulites for Dogs
Composition: Chlorhexidine gluconate 30 g/L (3%);
Actions: Chlorhexidine binds to the negatively charged surface of bacteria and fungi, and, depending on its concentration, exerts either a bactericidal or a bacteriostatic effect. It provides a deep, long lasting antiseptic activity. Pyoderm S shampoo cleanses and mechanically removes crusts, scales, microbes and debris from the skin.
Indications: Treatment of superficial dermatitis associated with Malassezia infections, and as an aid in the treatment of superficial dermatitis associated with infections by Staphylococcus intermedius in dogs.
Directions for use: Shake well before use. Wet hair thoroughly. Apply enough shampoo to massage evenly and well into the skin and coat. Apply more as needed (amount will vary according to the size of the animal and the length of the hair coat). Massage into a thick foam and rinse thoroughly. Repeat application and allow to stand for up to ten minutes, then rinse thoroughly in clean water. Repeat twice weekly or as directed.
